In the beginning…

Way back in 1999, the internet was a new and mystifying wonderland of screeching dial-up noise, snail-slow loading speeds, and weird dancing baby GIFs—what a time to be alive.

WMX founders Paul Pellerin and Andrew Stewart gazed at that nascent land of misfit cyber-toys and saw the enormous real-world potential in the technology beyond the weirdness of it all, and so, WMX was born.

Twenty-three years later, blazing-fast internet is the norm, hilarious memes have replaced cringey GIFs, digital marketing has become an essential business tool, and WMX continues to push the envelope as a performance- obsessed, full-service digital agency with a reputation for delivering wins for industry leaders across a wide range of verticals.

We believed in digital before it was cool, and if experience has taught us anything, it’s to embrace the new and always trust a hunch because we know that “trust makes possible.” That said, we assure you that none of this was created using generative AI tools… or was it?
